Raising the standard
In light of the latest forecast for Tropical Storm Francis, I am writing to inform you that the Jackson County School District will be closed tomorrow. The safety of our students, staff, and community is our top priority, and we believe this precautionary measure is necessary given the anticipated weather conditions.
We will be evaluating our facilities and buses tomorrow evening to assess any potential damage. If the storm progresses as expected and conditions allow, we plan to resume normal school operations on Thursday.
