At St. Martin High School, student life is about academics at our core, but we are also much more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about striving for growth, finding a connection, and being a school where every student can find an area to belong.
From the first bell to the final buzzer on Friday night, our campus is filled with energy, Yellow Jacket pride, and most importantly opportunity. Whether our students are leading a club, competing on the field or the court, performing on stage, or simply finding their place among friends, there's something at St. Martin High School for everyone.

Clubs & Activities
Students can explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships through a variety of clubs and student organizations. Whether academic, service-based, or interest-driven, these groups give students a voice and a place to lead. The clubs and organizations at SMHS include Amplifi, Beta, Biophilia, Chess, Climate & Culture, Diamond Girls, DND, FCCLA, GRIT, Homecoming, Hope Squad, HOSA, Make-A-Wish, Mu Alpha Theta, Prom Committee, Air Forc JROTC, Save, Science Club, Senior Cabinet, Spanish Club, STING, Student Council, Students of the Month, Sunshine Club, Teachers of the Month, Vietnamese Student Association, Yearbook, and more.
Academics, Arts, and Athletics
Student life at SMHS is as diverse as our students. At the core of that experience is a commitment to academics, where students are challenged to think critically, grow intellectually, and prepare for what comes next. Our classrooms are places where students are pushed to reach their full potential while being supported every step of the way. Our athletic programs compete at the highest classification in Mississippi while teaching discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Whether our Jackets are competing on the field or supporting from the stands, they are part of a culture that values effort and school pride. Our fine arts programs strive for excellence from band and choir to visual arts and theater, and they all ensure students have opportunities to express themselves creatively while showcasing their talents.
Not every moment is a major event at SMHS, and that's okay. Some of the most meaningful parts of student life happen in the everyday moments like conversations in the hallway or group projects that can turn classmates into lifelong friends.
